OK my friend is having a problem with his laptop. His sounds randomly starts sounding terrible it gets all compressed or echoy sounding. the first time it happened he just reformatted because he wanted to do that anyways. Then it happened again and after trying to play with it for awhile he reinstalled the drivers and it sounded ok. Now it's doing it again and it's kinda annoying. Last time i looked at his drivers they read as ac'97s and when i just looked at them they were sis 7012. The 7012's are the ones he got of Sager's website. Any Ideas? Thanks
