So I get home from work today and go to turn on my brand new system. No image. Lights come on, fans spin up, CD drive spools but nothing.

I start freaking out. I put a brand new 4850 in this thing yesterday and spent last night playing crysis and enjoying the graphics. I figured it was the graphics so I switched out the 4850 w/ a 2400xt...still nothing. I'm noticing that on power activation that the HDD light on the front doesn't blink or flash or anything. I've checked the SATA and power connections, changed both of them, reset the cmos, checked the headers but still nothing.

Any ideas? I'm freaking cause i've dropped 1k on this thing and within a week I've had a something die. And it wasn't because I did anything...the computer was in sleep/off.

Ok. I sat back for a moment and thought. Turns out I didn't remove the jumper for long enough. She's fixed now...don't know exactly what happened. Any ideas?

Check out the ram. Make sure your voltages are high enough, and if they are, run Memtest. If Memtest comes up clean, just wait and see if anything else happens. If it does bump your vdimm up a notch and see if that fixes it.
