Bad Processor?

My new 4400 running is acting kinda goofy. I had it running at 2.2Ghz for awhile. But it kept giving very poor results in CPU tests. In the 3Dmark06 CPU tests it's getting 1FPS.

In the SiSadra CPU tests it gives good results on the first run, but each run after that it gets gradually smaller and smaller, until it's pretty pathetic.

In all the game/video tests it keeps "skipping" even if it's getting 300+FPS sometimes it just "skips" and the sound skips too.

This is quite annoying when I was playing the game. I overclocked it to 2.6Ghz and it still showed the same poor results.

Any ideas? Or should I RMA?

It seems unlikely to me that it's any kind of problem with the processor itself. Generally, if the processor is bad, then it's flat out bad - it's doesn't "kinda work". Maybe some kind of problem with the chipset or motherboard.

General Hardware would probably be a better place to get help with this.
