bad power supply?

After using my system for 30 minutes to and hour, the OS crashes and/or the computer restrarts. This happens both with 98SE and 2000. What could be causing this. Power supply? Memory?

k6-2 @ 450
12 gb hd
192 mb ram
sound and vidio on board
CDrom
CDRW

Any ideas on why this is happening?

Heat is the problem. the solution: blow out all the dust, make sure yours cpus heat sink fan is
running ok, check cpu and system temperature in bios, replace hsf if too hot with a better one.
this isnt a software problem. =)
