Bad photo stretching of a model

a typical trick is to stretch the pic by 10% so she looks thinner. but in this pic her waist looks all weird.

Her stomach/midsection could have possibly been pulled in, as well, in post-production. That's even more common than stretching. More often, any stretching could be done on a lesser-known model (it being more obvious if done to a well-established figure), or sometimes by the person who does the layout for whatever design the picture is supposed to fit into, rather than by the retouching artist. Usually, if it's shabbily done, or looks way too obvious, it wasn't one of us.
