One thing to note on the importance of h.264 is that both BluRay and HDDVD will be using this codec. The reason I point this out is because it seems to be overlooked by many, but if someone is building an HTPC rig now, IMO that is pretty important. Then again you better make sure that the card you are getting is HDCP compliant, and whatever your plugging your card into is as well, and I think you also have to have Vista, but that DRM topic is a whole nother thread meant for another forum entirely :) . Just trying to help clear up the imporance of h.264, as it may seem absolutely pointless to people who dont know what the future is to bring.

I thought no video card on the market today was HDCP compliant?:confused:
