Bad Neighbor Effect!

So I have had a Linksys 54GS router for a little less than a year, and it has always been compatible with my adapters. Recently however, I have been constantly getting dropped off, and my router would sometimes disappear from the available networks list. It turns out that two of my neighbors recently installed N routers. I don't know if its the N routers or something else, but something must be wrong when I"m getting disconnected from 10 feet away. What should I do? Help!

Yes, a quick restart fixes everything, but I've been having to restart my modem so many times a day, I want to pull my hair out!

Change channels to 1, 6, 11 to see which one works best.

ddwrt? thibor or whatever? boost your signal beyond normal...change channel.
