With regard to the system in my sig

I have had this system running since March without issues, suddenly it has begun to randomly shut down (the LCD reads POWER OFF) after 5-10 minutes. I took the system down, one component at a time, testing between; the problem persists. Currently the system is out of the case, sitting on a box with just the video card and a single stick of RAM. Sill, it shuts itself off after 5-10 minutes.

I have reset bios, changed memory, changed PSUs & graphics cards. The temps seem OK - CPU & MB temps start in the high 20's and climb to the mid 30's, NB & SB temps climb to around 50.

As near as I can tell the only thing left to be FUBAR are the CPU and MB... right? did I miss anything?

Did you change the power supply with a same-type unit, or did you replace with a higher wattage unit?

I replaced and ES 800 with an almost brand new Corsair 620, but I also took out the big video cards and stuck an 8500 GT (no external power required) and disconnected all of the drives.

Guess the only thing left to control the PC is the mobo......you have done everything else!
