Bad/missing bootloader??

XP w/ sp3 image file from same MB
nForce 570 SLI MB
New drive formatted to NTFS and partitioned using MiniTool Partition Wizard. 1st partition made active
Loaded image file using True Image 2014
Bios sees drive, but apparently not as bootable with this message: PXE-E61 media test failure.
After 4 tries the dreaded "Disk Boot Failure" shows.

BUT,
If I run Hirens Boot CD and choose the 1st option "Boot from hard drive" the O/S loads.

Is this a boot loader deal and if so what is the fix?
