bad memory score ,soltek nforce2

i just recently built a soltek nforce2/ barton 2800 system. im useing samsung cl2.5 memory 2 x 256 mb 400mhz to be exact. i just ran sis sandra memory bandwith and only came up with a score in the 1234 range. i know my p4pe with single channel memory scores about 2300, so im wondering what im doing wrong. i have the memory frequence at 100% and the fsb at 170 and have left the multilier at default. and set the interface to agressive . timeings are 2.5-3-3-7 . ive seen some good scores with this board , so any ideas??

Did you put the modules on the yellow dimms only? Also go into your bios and make sure your memory ratio is set to 100%. That's a weird problem. I am getting 3250MB in sandra on my board.
