Just quick question actually, if I left a stick of ram in my computer that according to MemTest86 has errors, will this effect my systems overall functioning?

If your RAM is bad, you need to replace it immediately. Otherwise, continuting to run your system could cause file corruption and crashes.

But make certain that your memory voltage and timings are correct, otherwise your RAM might be perfectly fine but appearing to malfunction because you didn't set it up correctly.
