Bad Memory Address

So, my computer has recently started randomly and often (especcially in Aliens vs. Predator 2, but thats far from the only program). Anyways, I got suspicious and ran Norton Diagnostics, and it reported that my 256 MB generic RAM has an "Error detected at address 263155712". Is there anything at all that I can do other than buying another stick?? I realize that 256 megs of quality crucial is under $30, but I'd really rather not have to pay for new RAM. Does anyone know of any programs or fixes that can ensure that no programs right to that address and crash my computer?? Thanks for any help!

are you changing cas latency on your ram?

I haven't heard of any program that can ecc your ram.

And if you are oc your amd by fsb that could be causing it, try your normal clock speeds. You are not going to notice a 15mhz difference anyway.

Never try to find a problem when you are ocing.
