About 3 weeks ago built in NIC in the M.B would lose the connection from the Network when ever Data get Xfer over 15MB. . It would be like it can't get an IP address. Even if I assign a Static it would act like it does not have plug into Proper Network Segment. If I do the reboot; MB will not finish its POST. Right went it shows Plug and Play Listing which right before DMI Pool Update it will Reboot then. (PC Speaker usally do play Normal Finish POST beep)
I usally have to Turn off the P.S. for few secs then it can cycle back up
I have try to set the Negatiation from Auto to all the way down 10 half duplex
Drivers is been updated from RealTek Dated Jan 01 2009 and they are WHQL.
Just to see if the problem is Localize to my Computer or the Network.
I went a ahead disable the built in Nic and install my good ol 3Com 3C905TX Nic and that works

Now this Problem with Network Card is beyound me

Video Card and one Memory Card with CPU.
Hardware I have
CPU: Intel Xeon 3100
MB GigaByte O35C-DS3R
MEM : 4 (1 Gig) DDR2 OCZ
Video : 8800 GTS 640 Meg
Hard : 2 WD 2 Seagate
P/S: Corsair 400 CX
Nic: Built in Realtek RTL8168/811 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Nic
MB is not Over Clock or Never was. Every thing is Stock settings
OS: XP SP2 Pro
Router : Dlink DGL 4300
I had Restarting MB issue. Which I have Fixed that by reflashing BIOS so that problem is Sloved NOW

I just had the same thing happen to me. I have a Gigabyte EX58 UD3 and the Onboard NIC seemed to have died. It shows up in Device manager, but acts as if it were disconnected. No lights on the back at all. I powered down, unplugged the power cord to the PC and waited 10 seconds. Powered back up and everything was fine. I saw a thread on the tweaktown forums with about 5 other people saying they have to do the same thing with their PC too. *shrugs*

Really
Damn, Then it is BAD MOBO
Since a all my PCI are used up.
Video card taking 2 Slot
So I can only use ONE PCI-E Slot which is behind the Video Card
Shall I go with Add on Nic and bite the Bullit
or RMA the MB
In both Case I am out of $20 Bucks (Min) Shipping etc etc

Did you happen to update the driver via Windows Update about three weeks ago? There was a new Realtek driver available for Vista posted 2/10/09 (probably had an XP update too.) I never let Windows Update install drivers. I only use updates provided by the manufacturer.

EDIT Just checked the driver on my P35C-DSR, it is version 6.202.125.2008 dated 1/28/2008. You might want to try reinstalling the driver from your motherboard's driver CD.

Driver I have is from 22/01/2009 from Realtek with WHQL Sig
Now I do not think it is a Drive issue
cause, after it get stuck system WONT able to finish it POST.
What ya think 😕

What does it hurt to try rolling back the driver to the original. You say the problem started about three weeks ago. I just so happens that Microsoft pushed a January 2009 Realtek update onto the Windows Update site on February 10, 2009 (about 2-1/2 weeks ago.) You also say you have installed a January 2009 Realtek update.

Did the problem exist before you chose to update the driver? If so, then no it probably won't help. But does it really take that long to reinstall a LAN driver.

My driver is from 2008 and Gigabyte shows no more current driver available on their website.

I think I am not just Gonna use Factory one I think I am going to FORMAT HDD.
And REDO the Whole THING AGAIN!
