Bad lock ups w/ cpu intensive programs

I recently got XP installed on my new Shuttle AK31 rev 3, Athlon XP 1600 but I have been having proglems with Prime95, Folding@home, and RC-64. All of them refuse to run. Prime95 and F@H lock up almost right after they start, give or take about 20 seconds, while RC-64 will finisha few packets, around 3, and then reboot the machine for no reason. I haven't overclocked anything because I thought that was the problem at first. The CPU isn't getting hot, ~41C idle and around ~53 running these, albiet its short. Any ideas? It is really annoying not being able to do any of these. 🙁
