bad knight or should i say bad coach knight

Granted he has his problems, but he is also getting more than his fair share of persecution. There was an assistant coach with Knight when this latest incident occurred, and he said Knight did not grab the student in a physical/rough manner, nor did he curse the student. So who to believe, a coach who was an eyewitness, or the student's stepfather who first reported this story but was not anywhere near the incident.
 
Yeah but didn't he have a few witnesses last time when he claimed he never choked the player, and then that magic video tape turned up...
 
He's still around for the same reason people like Latrell Spreewell is still around. They don't care about anything but performance.
 
Well with Latrell, there is increased performance.

However, Knight hasn't done anything spectacular with Indiana for years!
Furthermore, Knight is in a position of total team leadership. He shouldn't
be choking people.

Someone should kick Knight in the balls. If he tried choking me, damn I would kick
him so hard in the nuts. Make him cry hahahahaha
 
Knight is indeed a jerk. But now you have people gunning for him. The young man that was involved in this latest incident is the stepson of a former radio talk show host and long time Kinght critic. You would be hard pressed to find the truth here.
 
I dont get this. These kids are playing in a semi-contact sport, yet they start crying when their coach says f_ck and shakes them a little? WTF?

"ooooh the coach shook my arm! Lets cry about it! Wah wah im a pansy that can't take a little physical interaction! wah wah! Maybe thats why we suck! wah wah"

Geez my parents made sense when they said that they would encourage our football coach to kick me in practice if i was slacking off 😛 (i never got that far but... 🙂 )


Now if he started punching the kid or something then thats not right, but just shaking them a little and cursing at them isn't that wrong.

I saw a video clip of Knight clearly choking a player really hard. There is absolutly
no reason for that. He should be in jail for assault.

I hear you man. My HS wrestling coach would have made Knight look like Mr. Whipple. The guy was a lunatic and kicked the crap out of us, on and off the mats. On the other hand, our HS teams won 19 straight league titles, finished 2nd one year, then went on another run of 7 more in a row. He also bought us beer, and would occasionally allow a team member to use his apartment if the guy and his girlfriend were looking for a little "privacy". Of course all of this happened in the 70's, when there was discipline, respect for elders/people in authority, far fewer STD's, and 3.2 beer ! 😕
