Bad Idea for 1080p @ 60Hz Right Now?

I just got a Dell S2309W to complement my 5870. It's 23", 1080p and runs at 60 Hz. I figured I'd be able to stay enough around 60 fps for this to be OK but even after playing around in Crysis Wars/Age of Conan to see how it was I'm not too certain now. Could it possibly be worth swapping for a monitor that is ~75 Hz? I'm guessing it would be. I'd like to stay under 24" given that I'm at college and I don't want something massive to lug around when moving. Just curious on what some of you would say about if I should swap for a higher Hz monitor.
