Bad HD or bad PSU?

Below is my setup. I just added 4th HD (WD320 sata). Strange things happening. They stop when I disconnect HD. Could this setup with 4HDs be too much for my 550W PSU? Or just a bad HD? Or bad PSU? Any guesses or advice on how to proceed?

It's possible that your PSU might not be able to supply enough power for that setup. The only way to know for sure is to disconnect one or two of your old hardrives and try running with the new one.

The easiest way I can think of to rule out a bad drive is to disconnect all of your other drives (except your boot drive, of course :) ) and try to boot your system with just 2 drives: your boot drive and your new WD320 SATA. If your problems go away with these two drives you will know your new drive is ok,and your problem lies elsewhere.
