Am running Asus P5Q deluxe mobo with 7870 GPU for the past 2 years without a prob and suddenly my PC was showing no display.
Finally, the fault was detected that it is a Bad PCIE Slot.
Now, the PC is working is fine if I use my GPU in another PCIE Slot.
BUT, if I use another GPU that is lying around my house (4870), its working on all PCIE Slots and my Current card (7870) only on one of the slots.
So what is bad - GPU OR Mobo ?
