Bad Gladiac 32MB?

My sytem doesn't post on a regular basis with my Gladiac installed.

I have the following:

Athalon 700MHz t-bird
Asus K7V
128MB PC100 Ram
SoundBlaster X-GAMER
Lynksys ethernet card
Pioneer 16X DVD
98SE
and of course:
Elsa Gladiac 32MB

I have the latest drivers for everything and latest bios for the ELSA. But does it really matter? If it won't post and nothing comes up on the screen, does it simply mean I have a bad video card?

I would also like to mention. I have used 2 different motherboards, 2 different harddrives, 2 different memory sets, 2 different processors.

Also, My old generic AGP card works for my system.

I know it seams like everything points to the Gladiac as the problem, but I am still not sure of that. I used to have similar problems but not as bad with a Radeon.

Could it be my monitor? I have used both a data projector and a 17in viewsonic with the Gladiac. The data projector seamingly giving me more problems.

I am ruling out drivers because this is solely a posting problem. Once everything is up and running, thing work very well.

Any suggestions? Please let me know.
