I got the above mentioned board for a comp that I was building my sister in law this last Saturday..Assembly went smooth and all and even POST'ed on the first try. I was like "great, good to go". So I shut it down and went out for dinner with the wifey. After we got back, I went to start it up to install WindowsXP and it would'nt POST again. All it would do is scream at me with with a fast, repeating beep and fast blinking of the front panel led. Cut power, cleared CMOS, tried again. POST'ed fine. Went through Windows/updates/drivers install with all of the restarts just fine. Shut it down. Would not POST again. Same thing. Beep code in manual says "power error", So I try my Fortron 350w. Again, it post's fine once, But I cannot get it to consistantly start back up again. So far I have tried:

1. 4 different PSU's
2. 2 different cases(In case I missed something and had a short)
3. Out of case alltogether on my bench.
4. 3 different vid cards.
5. 3 different mem sticks(Generic to Infineon to Kingston)
And more probably that I can't think of right now..

Any thoughts before I take this board back?
P.S. System specs:
P4 2.8 (533bus)
Gigabyte 8I848p-L
512 infineon ram.
MSI Geforce 4MX 4000 vid.

nope, taking it back is the only thing left. which is more or less what you should have done to begin with.
