after i flash the bios fromm 1.5 to 1.b0 i restart the system, then when it started, i heard beeping increment after every five sec. nothing also posted. i turn off the computer. clear the cmos jumper for 10 sec., it posted bios on the screen. then i can change some but not overclocking. save and restart. and now, it won't even make a beep or show anything on screen.i hear it start and cpu and northbridge chip's fans are running. i stop it, take off the battery for 10 min. still nothing. i tried to do reflash with the diskette again, holding the ctr-home but still nothing, now the floppy drive doesn't detect. is there alternative to flash again? or should i rma it............pls help

btw, my system
x2 3800
1gb ddr400
win xp
9800 pro 256
120 gb wd
dvdrw and combo also

you can just pop the chip out using a paper clip. it works, i've had to do it to mine. my question for you is how good is the athlon x2 support on the neo2?

X2 support is fine with the Neo 2 ... when I first got my Opteron 170 that was the board I ran it in & it benchmarked almost exactly the same as it does in the Asus A8N-E it currently resides in ... it didn't overclock as well though peaking at 2.4ghz vs 2.6 in the NForce 4/Asus.

OP get MSI to send you out a pre-flashed BIOS chip ... as tr1kstanc3 said, its very easy to change, although I suggest using a wood toothpick instead of a metal paperclip to pop it out.
