Bad Flash? *FIXED*

So I flashed my BIOS from 6/23 back to 7/4.

Took my 2x1GB Patriot sticks out and put my VX back in.

It said the flas was successful, but now when I try to boot the computer the Lan Party splash screen shows up, but I get:

"BIOS checksum error - Defaults loaded

Press F1 to continue or DEL to enter setup"

Neither F1 or DEL does anything, the comp is frozen.

WTH??

Yes, about 500,000 times now.

Right now the computer is unplugged, CMOS jumper at 2-3 position and CMOS battery out.

If it was a bad flash it shouldn't even post to the point I am at, right?

Thanks w00t, put the Patriot back in, loaded optimized defaults (did this after I flashed so I dunno why it worked this time) put VX back in and she fired up.

Gonna return the Patriot RAM now since it sucked. I must have had some bad sticks, I'll see if there's anything else worth trying at Fry's, maybe I'll try a different set up PAtriot if nothing else catches my eye.
