Bad experience w/ Vendor. FYI

I ordered a Lian Li case from www.ncix.com they sent me confirmation saying it was shipped on 8/22/01. Everytime i check tracking at UPS site it says package is in California. it has been in california for 10 days now. I've totally lost patience with this company. I've called www.ncix.com 4 times now. each time they've claimed they were going to check w/ ups on this and have never gotten back to me. Now they are claiming it is my responsibility. they are saying that once they ship the product it becomes my responsibility to see that i recieve this product.

I am totally dissatisfied with the way that they have dealt with the situation and I will never do business with them again.

any thoughts or experiences would be appreciated.

how best should i deal with this situation?

wrong, ups is always fob destination. it's their responsibility. ups wont even let the buyer put a trace on a package, it has to be done by the seller. call ups, they'll tell you what to do. if you put it on cc you could always wait and refuse delivery of the product and make it a pain in the ass for them, but also yourself.

If you put the charge on your credit card, call your company and have them suspend the charge and sort the situation out for you. It is not your responsiblity to see that the package gets to you. That is what you payed them to do when you bought the product and paid the shipping. Don't take their crap on this one. Send your CC company, and tell them that you paid for the item, but never received it. It is as simple as that. Good luck.

in this case the reseller rating isn't terrible 5.0 / 7.0 but i also have a friend that does a lotta business w/ ncix and she never had any problems. in retrospect she lives in canada and that's probably why she never had problems.

i don't like the implication by you however that i was somehow irresponsible. i did do my research. i will just choose not to do business w/ these folks again. i will also give them a very bad reseller rating.

i don't need to be berated by someone who doesn't understand the situation.

to others that posted, yes, i will try the cc approach.

Um, all he said was do some research. He never said that this was your fault in any way and I don't think he was trying to berate you.

Good Luck, play hardball with these a-holes. You will get your product or at least your money back.

also, his post would've had more impact if the rr was less than 4 / 7 wouldn't you say.

Im not trying to berate you, I just listed the rating of the reseller. Which has marks in the NO part for "will you do business with them again".

Then why would you ask of someones advise on this forum? You posted your situation and I responded accordingly.
So anyone who gives you advise also "doesn't understand the situation"

i'm not a "Boy" and that comment also could be seen as VERY offensive in the day of political correctness.

And I am VERY non-politically correct, as I see it, politically correctness is just destroying our society.

i was just being ornery cause i've had a bad day. my mood and my level of posts will improve over the course of the week.

Platinum, have you considered calling UPS and finding out where you package is? I've had several bad experiences with UPS and possibly they've lost your package.
