What is Error 10043?

This is a 3com509b card in a Tyan Tsunami mobo.
I've just swapped the mobo in, replacing a
Cyrix 150+ on a VX with a, for the moment,
PII 233 on the new mobo.

Might simply not have installed properly - especially likely if you didn't remove it in win9x device manager before you changed MBs.

I've seen this when your TCP/IP stack or binding are hosed.

Get a hold of the latest NIC driver, uninstall NIC driver, install again.

If that doesn't work then your stack might be screwed up with different versions. Uninstall IP stack, reboot, reinstall and give it a go.
