I just bought the EG365P-VE, 350w Enermax, hoping that it would set my 5V line higher than what my old power supply had. I could have sworn this had 5V protection, giving it like, .7 more 5v or something... I checked Sandra and PC health Status (in bios) and my 5V line is still only at 4.78-4.86!!!!

What is wrong? Did I get the wrong model or something? Grrr!!!

There have been a number of posts about the 5v problem and 5v mod. Supposedly due (in part) to inadequate voltage regulation in an Enermax from the extra long power plug length and distance from the Mosfets(sp?)components, supposedly worse on the EPOX 8K7A boards. I found several threads on this on the AMDMB.com forums. Search anantech forums for my name and see a thread (real short one)I started on this. My Enermax 431v runs 5v at 4.9 dropping to 4.8 w/ load. I am not sure but your voltage problem may be related to this.
