Bad Dream

I was lying on my stomach on my bed, in my old bedroom from when I was about 14. I was considering moving my stuff around in my room. I didn't like where my dresser was. Then all of a sudden I get this weird feeling in my head, and hear the words, in my head, "There is a woman behind you."
So then I turn around, and there is this 6' dead woman standing there in my doorway, just staring at me. Her skin was grey, and her hair long and white. Then she screams, and I scream, everyone in the house screams but they never come to help. And now she is now choking me on my bed. I told her to get her dead b!tch hands off me, then I woke up.

I've had scarier dreams but this one was disturbing.

Your bedroom in the dream represents you, your inner self. You're contemplating making some changes in your room (moving a dresser) - i.e., it is at a time in your life when you feel you need to make some changes about yourself, or how you are relating to people (or yourself). Time to come out from behind the dresser (i.e., closet), perhaps? "There is a woman behind you" - this is the threat that every gay boy faces, i.e., the societal and psychological pressure to marry a woman. From a psychological and emotional point of view, you might as well marry a dead person - there is no way you could flourish with that level of emotional repression & self-sacrifice. You are screaming, but no-one else in the family comes to help you, i.e., they know you are not 'straight', and that it would be hell on earth for you to pretend otherwise, and they hear your screams -- but they don't come to help you, for whatever reason. You have to get out of this alone. She tries to choke you -- on your bed! So symbolic. For you, to spend the rest of your life in bed with a woman would be a suffocating, choking experience. You fight back. Victory? You wake up.

Maybe the 14 year old Zysoclaplem didn't get much support from his family on issues of orientation?

My dream was bad too, and it still creeps me out. In my dream, I met some guy who worked in film and television (who had worked on the conan o'brien show apparently). I somehow convinced him to take me on as an apprentice while I wasn't working so I could learn how the entertainment industry works. He assigned me some weird tasks in adobe premiere which I have only used once or twice. So far so good.

Then, I'm working on his computer, and I notice that his monitor is a bit dirty. So I move it off whatever furniture it was on to clean it, and behind it, along with the obligatory cob webs and dust, are weird mutant creatures. Something like rats crossed with birds. And there are weird worms there. The worms are apparently parasitic worms that eat flesh, and they eat into my arms.

So then I have these worms that keep diving around through my arms. I am unusually calm about this. I am too embarrassed to go to the doctor, but my friends convince me. So I go to the doctor, wondering if it's bad or not. The doctors immediately operate and take them out through my stomach, but by that time they are weird looking bugs, and there are dozens of them.
