Try another floppy drive or possibly Norton...?

I would definitely try another drive before using the drive that is giving you CRC errors again. Can you read other floppies without problems in the drive?

First, is it the drive or the floppy that is causing the problem? Also, what OS are you using 9x or NT? From that error message I'm guessing you are using NT or better. If it is a bad disk there IS hope. There is a little DOS program called Revive.exe that does a GREAT job at repairing bad floppy disks. Use it to fix the disk then move the data to a new disk.
