Bad Company 2: Getting errors when attempting to join a game.

I woulda posted this in the BC2 FAQs but the thread has been closed, so here it goes.

I've had no issues at all playing BC2 online but starting last night it wouldn't let me connect to any servers. I can log in from the main menu but when I try to connect to a game it sits for a minute and then gives me this error.

I've tried several different servers and they all give me the same issue. Any ideas?

Its been wonky for me today too. I got the connection lost error once. And then twice today when I entered a server all my weapons were gone. Thankfully they returned after I died the first time in each case.

I love all battlefield games, but damn dude, it's a battlefield game, sometimes you just get stupid errors.

Understood, but an error that's persisted for more than 24 hours and keeps me from playing online is no longer just a "stupid error."

They announced yesterday that the EA Servers would be down for 3 hours at 3AM 8-23-2011 PT for service... guess they haven't completely updated or finish servicing their servers?

maybe update punkbuster or terminate services like peerblock or anything that blocks certain ips from connecting to you
