Bad Company 2 and Friends

Hey all

I had a question regarding the friends list in Bad Company 2. Is there a way for friends to join a server as a party? If we try to join a game together, it always throws us on opposite teams, and it's a chore to wait for someone to leave on a team and then one of us switches teams.

So am I just missing something? Is there a party option at all?
