Bad boy PSU......

ahh didnt think about that .. well that PSU you've found definitely pulls some serious horses for that sort of money, even though I work in £?s I can still appreciate the price difference and value, just wondering if it is a reliable brand of PSU.

Thats pretty cheap "*just like the birdie*" 😛

I have a 550 watt Fortron 60PLN that is very powerful and rock stable. With Fortron's track record, I am sure the 600 watter is pretty reliable...hope to see some reviews pop up soon....

I read that report too, although I can't comment on PCP&C. Losing a $1000 cpu is insane. I'll stick to my FX imitator, the fabulous Opty 😛

The Aopen version of the FX600-GLN is already showing well, and has a few reviews here and there on the net. There is also a 700 watt version available for more $$$

The FX600-GLN is identical in dimensions to my 60PLN which is a standard psu size (150x86x140). It's not extended.....FYI 🙂

Some of fortrons stuff is great, like all thier sparkles... Like yours.. but these looking too much like thier other 120mm junk which I had no luck with which I think are built by coolmax.. It's a lie anways...no way they can fit 15A x4 12 volts into regular PSU case.. And no way can it be so cheap. That's 40A which $330 PSUs is starting price and twice the size.

Soo.. uh... where do I get these power supplies again? 😉

I'm very happy with my Fortron 530w. If that 600 pans out, it will be an awesome psu at an even more awesome price...

Zebo,

I agree that some of the FSP/Fortron Aurora units weren't much to write about. The server units are all tha AND a bag of chips though. I also agree that Sparkle gets most of the good stuff, and very little fo the mediocre.
