I have been having trouble with my rig, and I have no idea what the problem could be. It doesn't seem to like the win2k kernel and it will freeze up when loading win2k(with via 4in1s) and winXP(regular). I have a detailed part of my problem here.
My question is:
What affect would a BIOS have on standard operations? Does the BIOS have a large part in stability?
 
I'd say the BIOS plays a huge part in system stability! Make sure you have downloaded the latest official BIOS for your board and use that - not really much more you can do in that department.
