Bad BIOS flash=no video at all?

So that's what I'm wondering. I thought all went well after a recent upgrade to 1009 bios on an old Asus CUV4X. It was necessary to install new 1.1GHz celery from 633. Flash seemed fine, even rebooted once after and saw the upgrade on boot.
Problems started after I installed CPU upgrade. Now the machine is brain dead. Absent of any display at all...it says "check video signal", thats all. Old CPU won't work either now. Would a bad bios do this? I can't get the box to do anything, from A:, C: or D:.
What happened here folks?

kileld the bios. Only thing i can think of is to post this iin OFF-TOPIC and some guy on this forum replaces chips for a cheap price. Did you try clearing cmos by battery or jumper or either press INSERT while booting up.

Thanks for the help everyone, Asus failed to mention that the CUV4X only supports Coppermine core CPU's. The 1.1A is a Tualitin core and the voltage discrepancy between the two caused my boot failure. These computers are always a learning experience. Does anyone need a spare bios? 😱
