My Nexus 4's battery has been complete crap lately. Utter garbage and it is frustrating. Hell will freeze over before I could even consider getting more than 2 hours of on screen time without a bump charge. And that is light/medium usage. No videos, music or games. It got down to 60% before I had to go to work, charged it to 87% and in 5 hours I was down to 15% and the ONLY thing I used it for was texting. I check my background apps, my location accuracy is on battery saver, I keep my screen brightness at no more than 50% and I'm extremely lucky for a 1 hour and 45 minutes of screen on time. It never used to be this bad I remember the days of being able to squeeze 3 and even 4 hours in. Hell, I've even done 5 once. This summer I could comfortably get a day in (7am-11pm) but now I'm at 20% by 5 a clock. 6 or 7 on a really good day. I don't want to root and install a bunch of roms or kernals. I need my phone and don't have time to tinker. Thinking about ditching it and downgrading to a moto g. Am I crazy? I have no other complaints with my 4. Performance is still perfect and I can tolerate not having LTE.
