As I understand it, the Bad Axe 2 mobo has two 4-pin fan connectors, one fore the processor and one for the auxiliary rear fan. It has three 3-pin connectos, for the rear chassis fan, the front chassis fan, and (optional) for the MCH fan. There is a reference to the fan control system automatically adjusting the fan speed for the 3 system fans. Does this refer to those with the 3-pin connector? How does this work?
Also, the manual says do not plug the processor fan into any connector except the one for the processor, which is a 4-pin connector. However, my processor fan (after-market HSF) is a 3-pin fan. Does this mean that short of a fan-mate or other similar controller that the processor fan can only run at full speed?
