Bad ass production truck!

What hauls six tons, can seat a football team's offensive line, and, for kids over 20 who miss playing with trucks in the sandbox, is the ultimate toy for extreme work and play?

Born out of a 20-ton hauler and other International severe service trucks used by the construction, government, and waste industries, the International CXT is built on the same platform as dump trucks and snowplows and features the International DT 466 diesel engine with a horsepower rating of 220 hp and 540 lb. ft. of torque capable of hauling or towing up to 6 tons (with optional tow hitch).

Additionally, it features a 70-gallon fuel tank, as well as a spacious interior with crew cab design that seats five and can be customized to meet owners' specific needs - from paint color to air seats to flat screen TVs. Options include reclining captain chairs, a fold-down bench that can be used as a bed, an overhead compartment with drop-down DVD, an XM satellite premium radio system, and a rear-mounted camera for increased visibility behind the vehicle.

base price is $93,000, but options can easily bring that up above $110,000.

I'm sure I'll be seeing a couple shortly after they've been released...

Same here. Johnson County is all about status and trend. H2s, Escalades and Mercedes everywhere.

I see the words "comfortable ride."

ANOTHER empowered soccer mom vehicle?

Interesting that it has air brakes, though. Don't you require a special endorsement to your drivers' license for those?

Jesus christ, they've done it. They've just smacked a SUV body on a goddamn Semi cab. What an abomination....

That thing would be great!

It's damn ugly, but i don't think anyone could say their truck is moar powerful than that one!

It's the same way around here.

With an optional tow-hitch installed, International claims the DT 466 powertrain offers up to 6 tons of hauling power
only 6 tons? come on, an F350 does 10!

Only 220HP? My Landcruiser has 212, and frankly, it's kind of pooch at altitude, pulling alot less weight.

LOL, you're a funny man. If you're looking at HP numbers, then you have no clue.

You don't buy a truck based on HP. HP means exactly diddlysquat. HP is just a different way of expressing torque anyway. Torque > HP.

shrug ... so what am I missing? It's got about twice the torque, so it'll do much better pulling. But the overall HP seems pretty sad.
