So My gaming computer currently is elsewhere so for the time being till i go get it I'm playing on an old rig.
I have an old Hp pavilion with a duel core amd athlon x64 2.4 ghz and nvidia integrated graphics and 4 gb of ram. I recently disabled the graphics and installed a pretty old Graphics card that i knew would be better than before and i know its not bottle necking. But It's an ati 2400xt and I got it for free because a local school technician was throwing old hardware out so i just got it from him but if i play any game new or old it just gets artifacts so bad sometimes game play becomes impossible.
Newest drivers and software is installed but no improvement. And it doesn't get artifacts with anything like software that actually detects artifacts so I don't know how to fix it.
Oh plus i have tried some of the exact same cards from the box of throw out hardware and all similar cards do the same thing.

That's probably why he was throwing them out. Sounds like they're all bad or going bad.
