SO, i work as a paralegal in a law firm in NYC that bascially means that I rarely get time for myself to sleep/relax/eat properly. I've never really taken vitamins, but I feel that with this lifestyle namely eating at odd hours of the day and night and rarely cooking for myself (so I that I don't know what goes in to the food), I'm not getting enough good nutrition. What kind of vitamins do you people take? Is there a difference in the main brands out there? What's good to take for just a general vitamin/nutrition supplement?

THanks. Ya, i know it can't be replaced, and it's not like I'm eating crap all the time, it's just that my diet is not as well-balanced as I would have it, (i.e. not enough veggies and the like) if I had the time, so I want something to supplement my nutritional intake right now.

Centrum, will look at it in the store today, cheers.

This may be a stupid question, but is there any difference between what guys should take and girls?

Men and women have different nutritional needs, but I think the difference gap grows a lot larger as you get older. (Older women are more prone to osteoperosis for example, so some vitamins might have 100% of your daily value of calcium instead of having to take a seperate calcium supplement/tablet) If you're fairly young I don't think it makes much of a difference, but that's just IMO.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I'm off to Duane Reade on my lunch break so I'll check it all out there. Centrum seems to be most people's choice.
