No, just your arteries. Real bacon-loving men can control what they eat.

You're real dense if you think I meant that anyone who likes bacon has arteries that look like that. Or that people in general who like bacon do. But the dish in that pic is no normal bacon dish.

No, but your mom molested me when I was 13

I guess I shouldn't be surprised. She was a high school teacher and if ATOT has taught me anything, it's that female high school teachers are always molesting their students.

you can grab any of several varieties of cheese out of your fridge, slice it up and throw it on some bread, or spread it, whatever, and enjoy in a few minutes.

bacon must be cooked. it produces waste that can not be tossed into drains, but must be collected in cans and disposed of in other ways.

Why would you toss away liquid gold?

Use it to fry some eggs in and such.

And if you ever have too much bacon grease then use it for making suet and this way the birds taste like bacon when your cat catches one. :p

I think it depends where you live and what kind of bacon you are used to.

When I went to the US the bacon was a shrivelled up and over-cooked monstrosity. Here in Blighty we do it properly.

Need to maintain your girlish figure? :p

No, but he should probably feel more like a dumba** eating fat laden cheese and feeling good about it. (1 oz. cheddar has 9gm fat, 6gm saturated.)

Admittedly, one strip of cooked bacon isn't much or any better.....one cooked thick slice of bacon has 4.8gm fat, almost all saturated.

But to say one is better for keeping your weight down is ludicrous, unless you eat only cottage cheese.

Bacon is my favorite vegetable. Cheese is dairy. You are comparing apples and strawberries.

Mmmmm bacon. I fixed pancakes and bacon last night for dinner and it was delicious. The bacon we got is covered in pepper and is probably 99.9% fat but so goood.

Makes the best gravy too I might add. :)

Both bacon and cheese are overrated. Unfortunately it has become the American way to smother a shit load of unneeded cheese and bacon on perfectly good food

You cannot compare the two, but if you must, Bacon wins this. Cheese is used so much that when bacon comes around its special. I could eat bacon with every meal unlike cheese.

Bacon is really great but it is still overrated. See the nataliedee comic, this is how Internet people talk about all sorts of things. Bacon, waffles, Chuck Norris, etc. It gets old and makes me hate those things.

Cheese on it's own ... OK
hamburger patty on its own .... bla
Bacon on its own .... boner

bacon wrapped in cheese is my fave snack.

cheese is my "food of the gods" however. theres only so many flavors of bacon, you could sample cheeses for months and never get the same flavor.

Cheese is one of the few great foods out there, but for carnivores, good bacon cannot be bested. Around here, we get apple-smoked, thick cut that can make a grown man weep.
