Yeah, I picked up a 12' screen from Wal-mart for my Mitsu HD1000u projector. Picture quality is great! We do movie parties and rotate at our friend's places along with BBQs, movies, games, etc. Super fun

Edit: I got the screen the Backyard Theater forum recommended:

The blower is a tad noisy, but when you have the speakers up you don't notice it. It's really easy to setup, just inflate and then clip on the screen (has backpack-style clips). Not the best, somewhat wrinkly, but for the price it can't be beat. And it fits inside an included duffel bag.

I'm going to set this up this summer. The side of our house is 32'x40', so that's a hell of a screen.

I really wish they had one with a wide enough base so that you wouldn't need tethers. Right now I'm building some Quick-crete weights in #10 cans to attach the hooks to. That way we can set it up in places that don't have dirt to push the screws into!

Just get some free weight plates. You can tie the tie down straps to those and just place them wherever you need them.

And for anyone that wants to get into this, definitely make an account over at the BYT site. Everyone there is super helpful and it's a great little community.

We just hit the 1000th registered member about 2 weeks ago.

Hah that'd be awesome. On weekends, my friend's dorm would have an outdoor movie night + BBQ and just drape a huge tarp between the windows and have about 50 people show up. Lots of fun!

It's loads of fun. My friend set one up in her back yard at her grad party and we watched some movies on it.
