I was out walking the dog and ran across a mantis sitting in the grass... picked him up and put him in some hedges lining the walk, when I spotted this other fellow...
Went home to get the camera, haven't taken any pictures for quite awhile and I am starting to get interested in it once again... so I thought I would dust it off and take a couple of shots...
When I came back, couldn't find the mantis so took a couple of shots and turned out this...

Started looking around for the mantis, and finally found him, but the sun had started to break through the overcast and made exposure a little tougher.
Got this pic as well as some others... had some better ones come after I switched from JPEG to NEF, but don't have the time or software to do anything with it other than view it...
