I was WRONG!
Yesterday at 10:14 AM CST I proved it.
Could not even read the drive.
And this is the drive with SETIQ and the proxy for flushing DNET.
What makes it worse I have a copy of NORTON 2000 and GHOST that I never installed.
And I got it out and read the documentation SAT. Thought about Ghosting C drive but decided to do it later.
Now I am using another computer with a USR 28800 I never got around to getting rid of. Glad I kept it, was able to flush last eve. with it.
Used Norton emergency disk and it recovered SETIQ folder. But thats about all it was able to save. Maybe because SETIQ was in a different partition on the same drive? I won't be able to flush SETI till I reinstall everything though. Messed with it from 10 AM till 10 PM then gave up and went to bed. Started reformating a few min. ago.
Take the time to backup NOW!
There are only 2 kinds of harddrives the ones that have crashed and the ones that are going to!
I forgot that. Please don't let this happen to you.
P.S. If I ever meet Norton I'll KISS him right on the mouth tongue or no tongue I'll let him chose.
If he happens to read this I'm lying.
Maybe I'll get one of those raid controllers now.
