I haven't backed up my computer since my last computer. I just burned some games and goodies when I did. I never had to use it.
I had a passing thought that i should back up my computer and wrote it down. I went to do a google search for backup and just found a bunch of advertisements. So i searched backup "how to" and the information was very complex. They reccomended different programs and i didn't know which one was the best and still free.
So i searched the forums and read different utilities they reccomended but i still didn't know if they were good.
Maybe I don't really need to back up. These days, all I use my computer for is to visit forums, surf the web for information, and watch videos. I don't even watch that many videos anymore. I don't do anything technical.
Backing up is really complicated. I don't know if it's worth it. I could screw up the computer if something went wrong.
And yet, my files and settings are precious. computers are like shoes. You have to "break them in" for weeks or months before having your settings optimum for personal use.
So, what should I do?
