Backup Windows 7?

Hello

I recently got Windows 7 from MSDNAA through my school but I think that If I have to reinstall it, I would need to get a new key. I think that is how it works for copies of Windows from MSDNAA but I am not sure.

I plan to install it this weekend and want to know if there is a way to backup the OS after I do a fresh install without getting a new key. Any info or links on how to do this would be appreciated.
 
same key should work more than once (granted it's the same machine). The worst that can happen is you have to call MS and tell them you reinstalled and ask for an over-ride key.
