Backup to bootable dvd-r?

Is this possible? I'm looking for a very idiot friendly way to make a mirror of my dad's HD onto a bootable dvd-r (it boots, asks you to restore and then you just wait)... Is that possible? I have a pioneer a04 dvd-r..
 
I know its early, but another bump.

My dad has a computer I wanna keep top notch too...I have a DVR-A03.

I have tried using the new version of ghost to do it, but I think burning to DVD is still in early development, so I couldn't get it working.
