Backup software..Backupexec or Arcserve?

We just got a new HP dds4 autoloader and our older version of Backup Exec doesn't support it. So, We are looking into a newer version.
Ive had the evaluation version of Backup Exec 8.5 for awhile now and it works, but I am not crazy about it at all. I wasn't crazy about our older 6.5 version either. It does seem to do the job though.

A good friend of mine recommends Arcserve 2000 instead. I have no experience with this. He says basically it's "easier, faster and cleaner".

Whatever I decide it has to support Win NT server 4.0, Exchange 5.5, SQL 6.5 and up. Open file support too.

What are your guys thoughts?

 
We here use ArcServe here. Does it's job without much hassle. Not really familiar with Backup Exec. Peace out.
