Backup- Restore profiles in Win2000

Is there a way to backup profiles in win 2000 Professional and then restore them after a format???
what files should i backup???
and how can i restore them???

Go to your documents and settings folder and backup your whole username. I would even backup the whole documents and settings folder if I were you so that all users and default users directory are also copied
