Backup Permissions

Hey everyone! This is what is going on:

Running Windows 7 Pro
LG Desktop NAS N1D1
EaseUS To Do free edition
WD external hard drive connected to LG Desktop NAS via USB

I can create folders and files on the external drive, but when I try to back files using the above backup program, I get permission errors.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
