My MB is a Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD4H, bios version is the factory default F3 (never had a reason to update it).
As the board has DuelBIOS - F3 is on both chips
I did a backup of the Main and Backup bios, assuming both would match (CRC), but they didn't match
m_bios CRC 5A7FEE39
b_bios CRC 50DE192B
so I thought, do the backup again - they don't match the previous
m_bios CRC E857C758
b_bios CRC FE39567E
All 4 files have the same file size of 16,777,216 , also they don't have a extension after the file name.
Any idea what's up ? does a CRC sum also use the timestamp in it's calculation ? , or am I using the wrong tool to verify the files and/or the fact that all four are the same size (16mb (16,777,216)) enough.
