backup from Win2k to WinME

I'm growing tired of some games n' stuff not working right in Win2k and wanna get rid of some of the bloat that I really don't need in Win2k, so I think I'm gunna go 'back' to WinME.

I'm running the Win2k backup utility now to backup some directories and files that I need, and plan on just burning that file to a CD when it's done. Does ME come with the backup program? Can it read the backup created in Win2k to restore the files? I have FAT32 on the drive, so file system shouldn't be an issue.

Just burn the files directly to CD. And by files, I'm talking documents, not executables which will need to be reinstalled anyway.

Yea, that's what I ended up doing. Stupid me musta told Nero to make an audio CD on accident, and backed up about 300MB worth of junk into audio format when I wanted data. Oh well. Wasn't the really important stuff, but stuff that I would have rather kept (saved game data mainly)
