Don't the "Pro" versions of Macrium, support "Dis-similar restore"? The problem is, in order to implement chipset RAID mode, the BIOS on the first machine was set in BIOS to RAID mode, and an F6-floppy was used with XP for the installation (or a slip-streamed RAID driver). Once restored to the second machine, if that machine is not set to RAID mode in BIOS, or requires different HDD / storage chipset drivers, then XP won't boot.

Edit: One thing that you can do, to prepare the system (possible, I don't 100% gaurantee that this will work), would be, if the first system is still operational, then plug in an ASMedia PCI-E SATA 2-port controller card, that defaults to the MS AHCI driver. (Is there even an MS AHCI driver for XP???)

Once that controller driver gets installed, then you might be able to image the system, and then restore that image to the second machine, if that second machine is set to AHCI in BIOS instead of RAID.

Yup, like Larry said, you cannot restore the XP image to another computer and expect it to boot. It would have to be identical hardware in order for it to boot.
